There is a financial plan for everyone at Aviation Institute of Maintenance. This could include federal, state and/or private funds in the form of grants, loans and scholarships.
Federal Financial Aid is available for those who qualify at most or our aircraft maintenance school campus locations. Federal Financial Aid is based on a student's individual need as determined by the federal government. AIM is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a proprietary institution of higher education for the purpose of student participation in federal grant and loan programs. In order to be eligible for any of our programs, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. Since all aid received from any Federal Family Education Loan Program must be used only for educational purposes, students receiving such aid must sign a Statement of Education Purposes promising that the assistance received will be used only for expenses related to attending school. When you meet with a Financial Aid Officer or Student Representative at AIM, you will be asked to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This will enable us to provide you with an Estimated Award Letter than we can review with you as we discuss your options.
Additional financing assistance may come in the form of military tuition assistance, state or local workforce training programs, scholarships or loans. Applications for all financial aid and assistance are available from the campus Financial Aid Officer. No one specific type of funding is guaranteed and your options should be discussed with a Financial Aid Officer. Some examples of the many types of financing options include:

Once you complete your tour at AIM and submit an application for enrollment, you will schedule a meeting with a Financial Aid Officer to review the financing options outlined above. Please bring your proof of US Citizenship and your High School Diploma or GED Certificate with you to your appointment. Additionally, if you are filing for financial aid as a dependent of a parent or guardian, please arrange for that person to join you at your meeting.
“In honor of, and to reward students involved in community service, we will match Segal AmeriCorps Education Awards up to $1,000. Students must be enrolled and submit a copy of their AmeriCorps voucher in order to receive the matching award.”
