Helping Our Graduates Land Jobs
Career Planning
The FAA demands the world’s highest and strictest standards for training aircraft maintenance personnel. The training you receive at AIM not only meets, but exceeds these standards. When you graduate from AIM, you will immediately become eligible to take the FAA exams necessary to obtain your Aviation Maintenance Technician’s License. To help you prepare, AIM’s resource libraries provide computers with tutoring systems for the FAA exams.
AIM’s placement department works hard for your success. We communicate with dozens of companies like Delta, American Airlines, Boeing, Federal Express, and US Airways who directly hire aircraft mechanics from us. We will show you how to approach the right companies in the right way. We’ll assist you in negotiating your starting salary and the benefits you desire for that first career position. Not only will we provide you with information about companies that hire AMTs, our placement department will help you locate career opportunities with both large and small companies worldwide.
