Airline Dispatchers share paralleled responsibilities with other aviation professionals and receive many of the same benefits. Benefits can include 401K Savings Plans, as well as Retirement Pension Plans, a variety of healthcare options and life insurance. Now the true perk of working in the airlines is the flight privileges.
Everyone hears about the flight benefits that airline employees have and airline dispatchers are included in that list. Airline Dispatchers usually have world-wide flight privileges for themselves and their families. In addition, Dispatchers can fly in the cockpit jumpseat, a small auxiliary seat for authorized individuals not operating the aircraft. With the best view in the plane, jumpseat passengers get a perspective unlike any other.
