Future AMT Conference

FAA, Education and Aviation Industry

Welcome to the Future of the AMT Conference page hosted by Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Updated information pertaining to the Conference can be found on this page for your convenience. However, please feel free to email or call me at (757) 490-3151 should you have any questions.

On behalf of the Aviation Institute of Maintenance and the Aviation Community, I want to express my appreciation to everyone for their participation in this conference. A special “thank you” goes out to the various team members within the FAA for working with industry and education on this critical issue. By identifying areas that can be improved upon; together, we can make the career choice for the AMT more appealing, while the flying experience is both safer and more enjoyable. An additional expression of gratitude is owed to Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) for hosting the first two sessions of “The Future of the AMT”. Without their participation and support, we would remain as we are today, but I believe we are on the cusp of change and the future for the aviation industry and the AMT is looking brighter.

Please take time to visit the links to our sponsors to learn more about them and be sure to take time to acknowledge their sponsorship.
