Student Activites at AIM Manassas

Some student participants in the bowling tournament.

There were several activities in the months of July and August at AIM Manassas promoted to get the students excited and involved with campus life and promoting a sense of community, while keeping in the theme of aviation maintenance training. Some of the events were:

* Sopwith Camel contest

* Remote controlled car obstacle course

* Student and staff bowling tournament

* Name my pet contest with prize of $25 AIM backpack

* Veteran’s workshop for Veterans, Active Duty and Reserve personnel

* National Aviation Day celebration with Auntie Anne’s hot pretzels

* Ice cream social

* Sign up period for the American football elimination contest (top prize is $300 tool kit)

* Shoe donation drive for one of our student’s home country in West Africa
