AIM Community Yard Sale

The Aviation Institute of Maintenance will be holding this community event on June 16th, providing a venue for local residents to sell their items. This event will also feature drone demonstration and photo ops with a fire engine, police cruiser, and an ambulance.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 6, 2018) –The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) will be holding a community yard sale on Saturday, June 16th at its campus located at 10640 Davidson Place, Manassas, VA. The sale begins at 11 a.m. and will continue until 2 p.m.

“Here at AIM, we are always striving to tie our activities into our surrounding communities,” said Marion Cohen, Campus Executive Director at Aviation Institute of Maintenance’s Manassas campus. “Our community yard sale provides a family-friendly environment where our neighbors can get to know more about the exciting educational opportunities that we offer in the field of aviation.”

The event will provide a venue for the local community to sell their various wares, all while creating awareness of the training programs the campus offers. There will bel food trucks on-site, with lunch available for purchase to attendees. Activities will also include live drone demonstrations, showcasing the campus’s UAS training course, and photo opportunities with local fire, police, and EMT vehicles. There will even be a helicopter landing in the parking lot, as well as a shredding truck available for community use.
